Switch to BooleanSMTP without breaking a single email

Bring your connections and email log over from FluentSMTP, WP Mail SMTP, Post SMTP, Easy WP SMTP, SureMail, and GoSMTP. Everything arrives switched off, so your site keeps sending until you have tested the new setup.

The plugins it imports from

How switching works

  1. Find what is there

    On the setup wizard’s Start step, choose Import from another SMTP plugin. BooleanSMTP looks for those plugins’ settings on your site and shows what it found.

  2. Assess it first

    Each plugin found is assessed before anything moves: which connections and how much of its email log can come across.

  3. Import as drafts

    Connections arrive switched off, as drafts, together with the email log. Your site keeps sending exactly as before.

  4. Keep or replace

    If an imported connection uses a From address one of your connections already has, you choose for each: keep yours (preselected) or replace it with the imported settings.

  5. Test, then switch on

    Send a test through each imported connection, turn on the ones that pass, and deactivate the old plugin when you are ready.

Terminal
# Assess first: nothing is written
$ wp boolean-smtp import wp-mail-smtp --dry-run

# Then import connections and the email log, as drafts
$ wp boolean-smtp import wp-mail-smtp --logs

Importing later, or from the command line

The same import is on BooleanSMTP’s Migration screen whenever you need it. Developers can run it withwp boolean-smtp import, including a dry run.
