Send WordPress email through Brevo

Brevo, formerly Sendinblue, combines marketing and transactional email in one account, which suits sites that already send newsletters there. BooleanSMTP sends your site’s transactional email through the same account.

How BooleanSMTP sends through Brevo

Through the Custom SMTP connection

In BooleanSMTP, add a mailer, choose Custom SMTP, and enter Brevo’s SMTP server below with your Brevo SMTP login. Logging, the fallback, retries and alerts work exactly as they do for every other connection.

Before you connect

Verify your sending domain in Brevo, then generate an SMTP key under SMTP & API. Brevo’s SMTP login is shown on the same tab, with that key as the password.

Pair it with a fallback

Pair Brevo with a second provider as the fallback so a paused account or a replaced key never stops your site’s email.

When Brevo refuses a message, BooleanSMTP tries your fallback connection at once, logs which one delivered it, and alerts you on Slack, Discord or Telegram only if every attempt fails. See the whole path

What Brevo receives

Only what sending needs: each message (recipients, subject, body, headers, attachments) and the credentials you enter for the connection, sent to Brevo when WordPress sends an email. BooleanSMTP stores those credentials encrypted in your own database. Read Brevo’s terms and privacy policy.
